When page rank update, what is your blog orientation?

I have been using this new domain since January 2008. After using this new domain for about 1,5 month, I see this blog has got a significant rank in technorati. When I make this post, my technorati rank was 16,993. What about this rank on Alexa? My Alexa rank is still on a level 1 million, no more increasing. And my Google page rank is still zero though this blog has got links from some highly PR sites.

Some said that it took a long time for PR to show for new site. Perhaps 3, 4, 6 month or 1 year. One of my blog got PR4 within three months. I did not remember how I can make that good rank. I just create this Literary Resources blog, then create another blog, about ten blog which has similar topic and I put my primary link at those additional blog. No link from highly PR blog/site, I only make link from new blogspot-blog, that's all.

So, how much time does it take for page rank to show after the blog/site launch?

Let say Google update their page rank quarterly, yearly... From Google update PR on October 2007, some sites which sell link got penalties. I am actually worrying about this since I make money from sponsored post, even not sell paid links.

Jack, an Indonesian blogger reported at his blog that he finally quite from paid post. Jack was worrying if he can not give feedback for his advertiser who have paid him. He feel guilty for that reason. Jack also did not like someone control what he should write at his own blog.

Yeah, you may agree with Jack. Everyone has his own reason. But for me, everyone has his own orientation for his blog. How will you make your blog for? If you are making money from your blog, what affiliate program do you intent to make money with your blog? Are you making money from Google Adsense, from sponsored post or direct ads?

The problem with me is, I did not take a decision whether Google adsense or Paid Sponsored post. I am now in dilemma, I like making money with adsense and I have make money on my paypal from my sponsored review posts.
